Emily and Emily have an album to finish, but nothing has happened for 3 months because blonde Emily managed to acquire a stalker with a drone - so now she wears a kevlar hoodie in her living room. The pair plan a two week trip to Mexico City. Unfortunately, their Airbnb isn't what it seems, and they enter a parallel world of magic, violence and sequins, where a vigilante luchadora is in a race against time to rescue her nephew from a woman in possession of an ancient power passed on by eye contact.

LA MIRADA is a bilingual action movie about a supernatural power in Mexico City.
But really it's a film about women looking at women. 

The writer and director of La Mirada, I also have decades of experience in post-production (Batman Begins, Captain Scarlet), giving me a view of the start and the end of the project, and it was immediately obvious to me how AI could help us. 

The trick is not to replace the humans but to get the humans inside the AI. 

This shot of Destina! and 'La Güera', is an AI generated image built on their performances: The actors performed the scene in my studio, their performances were captured, and then they are put in the world of the AI, in costume, on set, and we can move the camera wherever we want.
